Jennifer Baker presents EU Tweets of the Week, looking at the good, the bad and the ugly in the European Union Twittersphere this week:
- Most debated: #IndyRef Scottish independence referendum
- The good: 1 million babies have been born to Erasmus couples since 1987
- A bad week for the Schengen Agreement, Austria advocated for the temporary suspension of Schengen. Moreover, former French President Nicolas Sarkozy stated that the Schengen Agreement was a mistake.
- The ugly: The European Central Bank asked people to take selfies with the new €10 banknote using the hashtag #mynew10
