Europe is closing its innovation gap with the US and Japan, claims the European Commission

Cornelia Primosch is joined by Pia Ahrenkilde Hansen, spokeswoman of the European Commission, to discuss the 2014 Innovation Union Scoreboard report, which indicates the innovation performance of the European Union member states. On Tuesday 4 March, the European Commission presented the 2014 Innovation Union Scoreboard report, which reveals that all EU member states have become more innovative. The spokeswoman of the European Commission indicated the EU innovation leaders: “Denmark, Germany, Finland and Sweden are the countries that invest the most in innovation”. According to Pia Ahrenkilde Hansen, Europe is closing its innovation gap with the United States and Japan.
