EU Tweets of the Week: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly – 8 May 2015

May 8, 2015 - EU Institutions

Jennifer Baker presents EU Tweets of the Week, looking at the good, the bad and the ugly in the European Union Twittersphere this week:

  • Most debated: Well done Juncker! The Commission was (a little too) proud (according to some) to present its Digital Single Market proposals on Wednesday.
  • The good: 2015 Spring Economic Forecast says the EU economy is back on track.
  • The bad: the pot called the kettle black this week as it emerged that the Germans were spying on the French on behalf of the NSA.
  • The ugly: a family feud has turned into open war, as Front National founder Jean-Marie Le Pen is suspended by his own daughter.
