Air Quality Package: targets need to be “ambitious, but deliverable” argues ECR Group

Jennifer Baker is joined by James Holtum, spokesperson for the ECR Group, to discuss the European Parliament’s hearing on the Air Quality Package that will take place on 19 November.

Holtum explains that the proposed Air Quality Package is aimed at improving air quality in the European Union’s cities and regions. The hearing will be hosted by the European Parliament’s rapporteur on this piece of legislation, Julie Girling. It will bring together policy makers and representatives of the most densely populated regions in Europe. They will discuss how the package could contribute to cleaner air and a healthier environment, explains Holtum.
