On Monday 7 March 2016, EU leaders were joined in Brussels by Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu discuss the full application of the Schengen Borders Code in order to close the Western Balkan route and the reinforcement of the humanitarian assistance to refugees. In Strasbourg, the migration crisis is topping MEPs’ agenda. On Tuesday, they will be updated on the progress made by the Member States in the implementation of the EU Action Plan and on Wednesday, they will debate on the outcome of the EU-Turkey Summit with representatives from the Dutch Presidency and Commission Vice-President Dombrovskis.
